Where You Stay

Every hotel used by visitors in Bhutan must be certified by the Department of Tourism. We combine our own two hotels with carefully chosen places along your route.

Our team can answer any question about your trip.

Our own hotels

Thimphu Residency is a premium three-star hotel in the city centre, near the Hong Kong Market area, with 36 rooms, a restaurant, café and open-air terrace, and a conference hall and board room for groups and meetings.

Punakha Residency in Khuruthang is a government-certified three-star hotel in a peaceful riverside setting, with 30 rooms and a lift, a restaurant, a handicraft corner and a meeting room — a comfortable base for Punakha Dzong and the surrounding valley.

Staying with us means one team looks after your rooms, meals and transport together.

Certified hotels across Bhutan

In Paro, Phobjikha, Bumthang and elsewhere, we book Department of Tourism–certified hotels to suit your style and budget — from comfortable three-star properties to boutique lodges and luxury resorts. We choose places we know, and match room types to families and groups.

Farmhouse stays

For a night or two, a certified farmhouse homestay brings you into village life: simple rooms, home cooking by the fire, and often a hot-stone bath. Facilities are basic and shared, and the welcome is warm.

Trek camps

On treks, our crew sets up sleeping tents, a dining tent and a toilet tent at each campsite, and the cook prepares all meals. Pack animals carry the equipment.
